Jr. High

Our Junior High Fellowship is committed to providing a place for students in grades 6-8 to become strengthened, encouraged, and prepared for the battles they confront daily. We meet at church in the Jr. High Room during our Sunday morning and Wednesday evening services. Parents are always welcome to sit in or stop by. Our ministry exists to establish and foster in each student a personal relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ, through the systematic study of God’s Word. We emphasize discipleship, application, and commitment to our Lord Jesus Christ, and God’s Word!

Throughout the year, activities are planned to provide quality times of fellowship and Christian growth in a loving and accepting environment, where our young people are challenged to become all that God intends for them to be. Rock climbing, hiking, and other fun activities are planned on a monthly basis. We also encourage and co-ordinate attendance at summer camp, which provides an excellent time for young people to saturate themselves in God’s Word with God’s people.

Wednesdays 6:30 p.m. Jr. High Bible Study  “Discipleship, Our Need For God”

Saturdays: Jr. / Sr. High Night in the Centre every Saturday, 6 – 9 pm *Skate Ramps are available

Girl’s Home Fellowship / Bible Study: Last (usually) Friday of the month, 6:30 to 8:30 pm, in the home of Joe & Stacey Gaona (February 19, March 26. . . )

Guy’s Home Fellowship / Bible Study: Last (usually) Friday of the month, 7:00 to 9:00 pm, in the home of Steve & Cheri Boulanger (February 19, March 26. . . )

Friday, Feb. 26:  Jr. High Lock-In:   7:00 pm Friday, Feb. 26  until 8:00 am Saturday, Feb. 27 at church / Jr. High Room.  Cost: $5.00 and your Favorite Midnight Snack!   Bring your Bible, pillow, sleeping bag, toothbrush & toothpaste.

Saturday, March  20:  Cowles Mountain Hike / Picnic @ Lake Murray Meet in our church parking lot at 10:00 am / Pick up will be at 1:30 pm at Lake Murray  Cost: $5.00
