Introduce yourself
The Bible says in Proverbs that he who has friends is one who shows himself friendly. So, introduce yourself to others, and we will do our best to introduce ourselves to you as well and to see that you are ministered to here at Calvary Chapel of El Cajon. Make the effort to say hello to someone and ask them their name. Get to know a little about them. For some folks this comes easy, and for others this is difficult. Don’t be afraid to get out of your comfort zone. You will be a blessing to another and also be blessed.
Home Fellowships
Small groups of believers meet weekly in homes. They provide a place to study God‘s Word with fellow believers while discussing its meaning and application to our lives. Home Fellowships include times of prayer, worship, Bible study, and fellowship. In this smaller setting there is opportunity to encourage and care for one another. Home Fellowships are listed in our weekly bulletin.
In addition to Home Fellowships, we have various other groups: Men’s Bible Study (weekly), Women’s Bible Study (weekly), Anna Fellowship (monthly; women 40 plus); Dorcas Circle (monthly; women’s sewing/outreach), Most Excellent Way (weekly; overcoming chemical dependency).
Make the effort to find a small group that fits you best to begin establishing yourself and your family. Be consistent in attending these and the Bible studies each week. You will find out how easy it is to find new friends here and develop lasting relationships. You will also find yourself wanting to serve as a part of this body to bless others.
