Opportunities to Serve
The following are opportunities to volunteer your time, energy, and gifts in service to Jesus and the church body here @ Calvary Chapel El Cajon. We pray the Lord blesses you immensely as you offer yourself and your service to Him.
Book & Media Center: We are looking for a couple people who could help in the Book & Media Center in between services and after 2nd service on Sundays. You will help with customer service, duplication of audio sermons, and other related tasks. If you are available to help a couple Sundays a month, please contact Don Pellettera
Ushers: We are in need of more ushers for 2nd service, every other Sunday. If interested, contact Craig Miller
Greeters: Sundays and/or Wednesdays before services. Contact Roberta Cox or Church Office
Safe At Home (Ushers, Greeters, Security) Safe At Home Application
Children’s Ministry: Teachers and assistants are needed Sundays during our 8:30 & 10:30 am services; Wednesdays - Kidz Clubhouse (6:20-8:15pm); Nursery and Preschool Ministry (9:30-11:30am and 6:30-8:15pm). Contact Jennifer Perrine
Centre Snack Bar: Saturdays, 6-9pm, and/or Sundays after 10:30 am service. May serve once or more a month. Contact Church Office
Converting cassette audio sermons to digital: if you have the software to import and edit audio files on your computer, and some time to do the importing and a small amount of editing, this would be a huge help. We desire to get many more messages from Pastor Dale and Cathy on the website which are only on cassette right now. I’ll explain more if you contact me: tim@ccelcajon.com
House cleaning (@ the church): the building here is often in need of dusting and some basic cleaning in certain areas. We have a great janitorial service that takes care of the basics on a regular basis. There are certain jobs and areas that we do not pay them to clean and we could use the help to do different types of cleaning to keep things nice for God’s children as they gather throughout the week and on Sundays.
