The Basics at CCEC
“And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers….And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved.” Acts 2:42, 47b
Teaching
As a Calvary Chapel, we systematically study the Bible, verse-by-verse, chapter-by-chapter, working our way through the whole Word of God. We teach and study the Bible so that we might possess sound doctrine and the benefits which follow it. We offer Bible studies throughout the week so that everyone has opportunities to be fed and grow in the Lord.
Fellowship
We meet together, worship together, learn together, and grow together with the desire to be equipped for His work. We enjoy fellowship with one another, which builds relationships, provides accountability, encourages unity, and gives us opportunities to serve and love one another. It really helps us appreciate what a great family we belong to with God as our Father.
Communion
We celebrate the Lord’s Supper as He has instructed us to. (I Corinthians 11:23-26) Please make it a point to join us the first Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. for a time of worship, communion, prayer, and afterglow.
Prayer
Recognizing our need for prayer, we have Prayer Partners available for prayer after our services. We also have a church Prayer Chain and various prayer meetings during the week.
